The Tennessee Museum of Aviation is home to two P-47 Thunderbolts painted in 57th Fighter Group colors. Although amazing, that is not the most remarkable aspect of their story. Uwe Glaser tells the tale of how these fighters ended up together, and how their owners became friends.
