Britain’s Glorious Gladiator

Although technically obsolete at the start of World War II, the Gloster Gladiator was flown in combat. From China to Finland there were several pilots who became Aces in the two-winged wonder. Representing the pinnacle of biplane fighter designs, today only two examples of this venerable airplane exist in flying condition within the United Kingdom.
