Avengers on the Lake

Along the shores of Lake Erie a unique gathering of World War Two veterans and families converged at Liberty Aviation Museum to be honored and to have a chance to once again fly aboard a beloved TBM Avenger. This emotional event, the brainchild of US Navy veteran Willis Lodge and TBM owner Charlie Cartledge, included four of the big torpedo bombers and nearly two dozen veterans.
